Hi everyone our dear travelers, how are you? We hope everything is fine. Today we will take a short break from our European tour to land, guess where? India! To be more precise in Darjeeling.
As always, just a short introduction of the city.
Darjeeling, a town located on the hills, is known for its black tea and the Himalayan Railway of Darjeeling declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The scenarios that will open up in front of your eyes are wonderful and all natural! Plus here there is so much history and different places of interest (like the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center) and what about the food? One word: tasty!
It is during the spring and the summer that Darjeeling is full of tourists, giving a great work to the hotels and the restaurants.
Speaking of hotels in the area there are many beautiful accommodations where to stay. Among these, we have collected the best for you. Here they are:
- Located in Darjeeling, Ramada Darjeeling Gandhi Road is in the historical district, a 3-minute drive from Chowrasta and 6 minutes from Raj Bhavan. A hotel with a spectacular view over Kangchenjunga, the third largest mountain in the world. And that’s not all, as there are so many services offered by the hotel.
- Himalayan Retreat, Jagjeet Himalayan Retreat is located high above the main town. Of this new hotel the location is its strong point, it is located near the shopping center road that makes everything much easier for everything you want to do.
- Delight Norling Retreat, set 5 km from Tiger Hill. Delight Hotels Norling Retreat provides accommodation with free WiFi in Darjeeling. But there is more: the Asian breakfast, the proximity to the Neora Valley National Park and the proximity to the Bagdogra airport… Should we add more? And it’s not over here!
Obviously due to the space that isn’t so much, we have only mentioned 3 best stay options near Darjeeling but as these beauties there are many accommodation where to stay and you can find all them visiting the site.
Well dear travelers, we hope that you enjoyed this little “escape” in India and we hope you liked as much as we did.
Now as always, it’s up to you. We want to hear your opinions, if you have been to India or if would you like to go there or why not, if you have already stayed in one of the hotels we suggested you.
Meanwhile we send you a big kiss.
